In general, when we click the last slide of a presentation, it will go to
black blank screen. How can I change to dissolved screen before black blank
screen?

Thanks,

Scott

Hi Scott,

It is a slide show setting.
Dah dah da da, dah da duh.

Sorry. Just saw Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skull.

Anyway. In 2003: Tools| Options| View tab, Slide show section. Get rid of
End with. black slide check box. For 2007, go via the Microsoft Office
Button and so on

Hi,

Hmmm. Reread your post. Maybe insert a blank slide before with a slide
transition?

What Glen said -- and if you don't want your audience to know that you
inserted another last slide, set it to transition automatically after a few
seconds -- and make the background for this last slide black.

Just add slide transition at the last slide. Right-click the last
slide and choose "slide transition". From the slide transition task
panel, choose "fade smoothly". If you want it to dissolve slowly -
From the modify transition section - you will see Speed pull down menu
and select 'slow'.

Thanks for your good ideas to get my effect. I use a slide master for all
the slides. How can I disable the use of the slide master just on the last
slide?

Thanks,

Scott

Echo,

Yes, I have changed the last slide to black background but do not know how
to get rid of the logo bit that comes from the slide master when I add a new
slide at the end.

Thanks,

Scott

Okay. Right-click on the slide background and choose Format Background. In
that dialog, black should have already been selected for the background
color. There's an option there to "omit background graphics from master."
Check that.
