Hey Ian,

Out of interest, is there a way to change the above via the UCP? Or maybe add an option for members to choose their display options?

Just not a fan of it saying 'Last Post X Hours Ago' or 'X Minutes Ago' would prefer it to say the time it was posted.

If no then no drama, just wondered. :)

TBH, I prefer the date and time of a post rather than X minutes ago too. :)

I can't see a way to alter this on the user end, but I'll do some digging and see if it's possible to customise :)

I'm wiv those two, I prefer actual time rather than '18 hours ago'.

'18 hours ago' means I have to think, lol

But if it can't be done, it no a biggie, really.

I've found an old code modification on the vbulletin site which should allow this, however the code has been "archived" which means I can't view it anymore . I've PM'd the author to see if he still has it and can send it to me :).

Wow so there isn't an option in the admin panel to simply change it? That surprises me!

Like i said though Ian, if its a pain then dont worry. :)

There's one to change it globally, but doing that would have knock on effects on some of the other plugins I've coded. It does look like I can make it work on a per-user basis, I just need to hope the code is still available :).

Sorry to be a pain but if you can, can you sign me up to it too, Ian:thumb:
The site is a lot better by the way Ian & you and The Mods do a great job.

I heard back from the code author that he no longer has it - but I posted a request at the vBulletin forums to see if anyone else has it :).

If not, I'll see if there's a way I can code something myself after Easter :).

Thanks for that, Ian. :thumb: Just right. You will have made a lot of people happy.

Great job as usual.

I think this may be working now... took a while to figure out!

Can you check the options at the bottom of this page (https://www.pcreview.co.uk/forums/profile.php?do=editoptions) and set the date/time multiple choice to "normal"?

OMG! I totally missed this! lmfao!

Was just checking out the options changing the editor settings and saw this at the bottom. Now set to normal! Woo Hoo!

Many thanks Ian. Sorry i'm so late replying! lol :fool:

Today/Tomorrow is the way forward by the way, Best of both worlds. :thumb:

Cracking job again Ian.
