Last name first

A long story short... My address book is now showing my contacts by first
name last name. When I click the To button on a new email, I see the same
view. But my contacts folder has then displayed by last name first name
which is what I want. I've looked all over but can't find how to switch
that in the address book/To list button view. Any help?
 
Please provide your Outlook version when you have questions. The answer is
different for each version.
 
Sorry. I'm on Outlook 2002.

Go to Tools > E-mail accounts > View or change existing directories or
address books > Outlook Address Book > Change. > Set your sort order there
