Last entered details not displaying

I am using ie6.0 on win xp prof. and having all security
updates. I used to browse some commercial websites, these
are having some account details. Every time i need to type
that account number manually. can't it save that number in
memory, so that i can select it from that list. Previously
i was using win2000 prof with ie6.0 with no issues. It was
getting memoried and able to select that from a list box.
Can't it work like this on xp.

You must set your Inlin Autocomplete.
Look at your setting and change it if not set.

Tools\Internet options\Advanced Tab
Check "Use inline autocomplete"
