Laserjet Printers & MSAS

The printers at the office I'm working at have slowed down
about 5 minutes per print job since I installed MSAS -
we've got a HP 2100, Brother HL-1240, and Brother HL-1440.
The printers went back to normal functioning after I
shutdown MSAS.

Anybody know what's going on here?
 
If you are printing from WordPerfect, this interaction has been posted
fairly frequently here.

If not, can you say more?
