A
alabaster
Argh, I have an HP Laserjet 4mv that i purchased used (no manual).
When there's no paper in the Letter size Paper Cassette, the printer shows a
PC Load Letter message and refuses to print, even if I'm trying to print
from a different tray with a different size paper.
For example, I try to print a document on legal paper from the multipurpose
tray. If there is no paper in the PC it simply won't print, even though
this print job has no use for the PC whatsoever.
Is there a way around this? This has actually occurred when I've been *out*
of letter-sized paper, which caused me a lot of wasted time trying to find a
workaround just to print a one-page document on legal size.
Is there a setting I can change to avoid this?
Thanks,
chris.
