Laserjet 4L

I have downloaded the latest drivers for the LaserJet 4L printer, but I
still cannot print a spreadsheet in Microsoft Works. Can anyone offer any
advice please.

Do blank pages print?

Can you print in other programs

does print preview show test or blank pages

The printer works with all other programmes. But when trying to get a print
prievew in works, I get an outof memory message, which is patently untrue.
But if I point to another printer(s) (which I can not use), then there is no
problem.

Did you check the memory setting for the printer it is possible that the
program thinks it has more or less installed memory than it really does?

If you go to printer properties then advanced settings the default seems to
be 1 mb. Print a settings page out on the printer and see what it says

Have you tried telling it now to spool but to print directly.

Does this happen with a document with very little text?


Is you page size set properly?

Lasers are funny in that they have to render the whole page in order to
print. An inkjet prints one line at a time so needs much less memory
