laserjet 4100n

hi
i heave laserjet 4100n with jetdirect 610n print server in it. some
times the jetdirect card is ok and it starts network (status led is on )
but other times it doesent exist at all for printer.
does some1 know how to do a reset on both printer and jetdirect card?
or perhaps wha can be a couse of this odd behaviour (cable isnt a
problem since i verified that with 2 sets of cables and my pc)
