I was ready to buy a laser printer (Samsung 1750, black and white).
However I noticed that laser printers' quality on gray images is
really bad!
So I am thinking about to buy an inkjet instead, probably a Canon i560
or i865 (the latter is said to make wonderful images).
Usually I print black/white texts, that's why I considered that a
laser printer would be better for me. However, sometimes I have to
enclose logos or graphs in my texts (nothing special, I don't need to
make photographs or color graphs, however, it may happen).
So, what are the cons of these inkjet printers, compared to the
Samsung laser?
Are texts as good-loooking like a laser printer?
These Canon are fast, and ink does not cost too much.
Furhter on, what does it mean: "maximum 1200x4800 dpi"? (Canon
inkjets)
What is the usual standard on regular paper?
I would be happy with 1200x1200 dpi on regular paper.
(That's why I would prefer a Samsung 1750, 1200x1200 dpi, rather than
a 1710, that is 600x600).
Thanks
