Now, I'm getting ?&¤##" at the small font-size that keeps displaying on the
web-pages I surf to.
I do like to take advantage of 32 bit colors and a 1152x864 resolution, so I
reset the internal fontsize to something like 12 or 14 and save it in as a
'Theme'.. that helps on my internal reading. On surfing I have the option to
set the font size to 'larger or largest', but that doesn't seem to affect
the font that I would like to read. I found a third posibillity in advanced
settings and has now put dpi to 150% of normal size - and does things GROW
.... except for the font-size of the surfed to pages that was my original
problem. Even the lock-on screen has gained a font-size that is too large
for XP's own graphis design .. basically telling me that they lost controle
of the problem.

Does anyone have a suggestion how to make home-page fontsize
readable/scalable?

Hold the CTRL key on your keyboard and then scroll down with the mouse
wheel. That should do it, scroll up to make it smaller again.

Some web pages are written with a specified font size. Often implemented to
preserve page layout but is considered to be poor web design. Good design
dictates viewing preferences should be a variable made available to the
reader.

Using "Internet Options> General> Accessibility: Check box to ignore font
sizes" *should* help. If not, drop a line in regards to the fixed font size
to the site's webmaster.

Yep, it works!
Some of the web-design gets messy, but I havn't met the fontsize 6 or 8 that
sometimes seems to be a standard, and that's what counts. I appreciate both
of your answers (off it goes to get a wheel-mouse)
Thanks

And this works too; Great!
(I dismissed my wheel-mouse, probably becourse it took special installation,
but the usb has engaged it right away)
