Anthony

I have a PowerPoint presentation that is 1 word slide and
I can't get the file size down below 4megs. There are no
imported images or artwork and I can't find any other
hidden objects.

Has anyone ever come across this problem before? If so,
how was it corrected?

Thanks,
Anthony

Anthony,

What does the 1 word slide contain?
Any images?
Have you looked on all the slide masters?
Have you tried creating a blank presentation and importing this 1 slide?
Have you tried un-grouping the 1 word slide?
Have you turned off 'fast-saves'?

Cheers

A fairly common problem, actually.

The slide may only show one page from the Word doc, but the whole doc is
actually embedded in your PPT file.

If you don't need to doubleclick the Word doc in PPT to bring it up in Word for
editing, ungroup it. That will toss out all the excess data.
