Large message stuck in Outbox

I have a message with a large attachment (about 8MB) in my
Outbox. It doesn't get sent, yet when I try to delete it I
get a message that says it can't be opened because the
MAPI Spooler has started to send it. In the meantime, I'm
not able to send any other messages. Any idea how I can
get rid of this message?
