Large icons on PC

Dear all

Someone will know what's going on here.......

PC has suddenly produced large icons and even web pages are the same (i.e. large text). Nothing in the accessibility options has been changed.

Any ideas what's happening and what I need to do?

OK, click on start; right click the bar at the bottom; click on properties; click on customise.

There's a choice there for large or small icons.

Or there's a possibility your screen res may have changed somehow.

To access that, right click on main desktop display >> properties >> settings. There you can change screen resolution.

As always, v helpful!!

Small icons is selected as per first piece of advice. On second, resolution showing 800 x 600 pixels. Does that sound right.

Still have large text/icons although apart from that, all appears well.

Whilst at work today the teenagers have been on PC and I was met with 'mum, the computer's gone all funny and large'. More than that I do not know. I suspect some fiddling but know not what.

Any further ideas and are the pixels/resolution looking ok??

If it is not already there, SIZE on the browser.

Right click browser>customise>add size to the browser and alter it to suit your requirements.;)

Thanks for that but I am not quite sure what you mean and whether I have made the problem clear.

The desk top icons are quite big, the text on web pages is bigger than before.

This will be simple to sort I' m sure, Mr and Miss Fiddler have been at work in my absence!!

Where is right click browser? What should I be looking for?

Sounds like the little monkeys have adjusted your screen resolution. Right click on desktop>Properties>Settings and adjust the screen resolution higher. Mine is set at 1280x1024, but raise yours to how you like it.
 
you said it shows 800 x 600 pixels... well my moniter is a 15 inch and it is set to 1024 x 780 so raise the bar ( if u can ! ) to 1024 x 780... that sholud do the trick :)
