Large Format Scanners larger than A3 ?

Is there a flat-bed scanner, for either OSX or XP, that scans an area
larger than 13"x19" ?

I don't believe I ever saw a flatbed scanner for anything bigger than
11 X 17 (which I believe is close to an A3 size) For anything bigger,
you would need to go to what is called a "Drum scanner" Those are
usually mighty pricey.

There are Blue Print scanners.

Not low cost.
