Since Sunday many of the web sites I visit, but not all of them, have a very
large font instead of the font size they normally have. How can I restore
these to the regular size.

p.s. Could it be a vast right/left/center wing conspiracy that has to do
with forged/not-forged National Guard documents?

That solves the problem. Someone who uses my computer must have accidentally
changed it to 'largest'

Thank you

Or turned the mouse wheel whilst depessing CTRL.

I am having the same problem, and Text Size in View does not correct it. I
did try turning the mouse wheel while hitting CTRL, and it made the problem
worse. How do I undo the effect? This is incredibly frustrating. On some
websites the text letters are over an inch high. Also having trouble with
overlapping text when hovering over hotspots with submenus - they are
transparent and very difficult to read

Hi Cyd :-)

Try the following and see if it helps:

Check in IE>Tools>Internet Options>General>Accessibility
and
Control Panel>Accessibility Options>Display

For normal viewing nothing should be checked in these sections.

also..

Go to Tools> Internet options>Click the Accessibility button at the bottom
Under tthe Formatting section>make sure the "Ignore font sizes specified on
web
pages" dis UNchecked.

Hope this helps :-)

Jan :)
