I'm running Win 2000 pro on my video editing computer. The problem I'm
having is when I go to move a file of 4gb's or more from one drive to
another the following occurs. The progress bar starts and quickly the
"minute remaining counter" comes up with a number, say 3 minutes
remaining. Then it counts down as the progress bar moves accross. Once
it arrives at the end and the time expires, the "minute remaining
counter" goes crazy with a bizzare number, like 147,489 minutes
remaining. This number fluxuates as the file transfer icons show
action, but the transfer never happens, even though the recieving
drive's action indicator(light) show activity. This goes on until I
cancel the request.I haven't a clue what's going wrong here. Hope
someone can steer me in the right direction. Thanks

I suspect that you're trying to move the file to a FAT32
disk partition. These partitions have a file size limit of around
4 GBytes. You must convert it to NTFS in order to remove
this limit.
