We just bought two laptops, how do we set up an email account with the same
address as our main computer?
 
Tools | Accounts | Add | Mail and then add your mail accounts. When you
finish, there is a checkbox that says do not download my mail now. Check
that box. Then go to Tools | Accounts | Mail | Properties | Advanced and
check the box on both laptops and your desktop to leave the messages on the
server. Then on the desktop set it to delete the messages after a few days.
That way you'll receive the same mail on all the computers.

If you travel with the notebook, then you'll have to check with your ISP
about how to configure their SMTP server so you can send mail from your
notebooks not from home.
