Colleague warned me to be careful - that he had heard there are significant
differences in functionality between installing Outlook 2003 on laptops vs
connected desktop machines.

I have tried to find info on this without much success.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

I have Outlook 2003 installed on both my desktop and my tablet and I find no
differences between them whatsoever.

He's wrong. Outlook works identically on both. There are some features of
Outlook that make more sense when used on a laptop (like offline folders),
but the features exist in any installation.
