Laptop Upgrade

Hey,

Im going to upgrade the memory in my laptop from 512mb to 1Gb to get a bit of a performance increase. Just wondered if anyone thought Crucial or Kingston were better. Did a serach on Crucial and found out what i needed for my laptop, and here are the two products:

The Kingston will work out about £10 cheaper.

I have used both ... and because Kingston is usually cheaper, I use it more often.

Actually using Kingston Value Ram in my Vista box.

I usually ask ... "who is the actually manufacturer of the Chips used" ... you can't really go too far wrong with either manufacturer.

Excellent Mucks. I know of Kingston but i've not really used it as much as Crucial. They were always a good quality manufacturer as far as i was concerned. But i like Crucial because their RAM is good, but also so is their customer service. They are probably very similar though i would guess. Might just go for the cheaper Kingston stuff.

I've always used Crucial, but ot be honest there isn't a huge amount of difference between what you get so long as it is good branded stuff.
