Laptop question

I realize this is probably not the place for my question, but perhaps
someone can steer me to the correct place? It has to do with Window Media
Player having only sound, not video, when my laptop is in the docking
station. There IS video when it's out of the docking station. The laptop
and docking station are well past the warranty period when I could get such
help without a fee.

well, take the docking
station out of the equation
and re try the windows
feature directly via the
laptop.

I did. That's why I said the video DID work out of the docking station.
Might be some sort of connection between the video in the laptop and
whatever makes it work in the docking station.

As long as later repliers continue the crosspost, the posts will be found in
both newsgroups.

No replies either place yet <sigh>, but I'll be patient.
