Hello All,

I have an ASUS W3H00V laptop that has worked great for the last six months.
The laptop was part of my Windows 2000 domain. I use the wireless to connect
to the servers when I am in the office. When I am away from the office I
still login with the same username & password as I do when I am in the
office. Everything was working great UNTIL I made the bonehead move of
joining my workgroup at home so I can transfer files. When I got back to the
office this morning I re-joined my domain. Problem is it won't take my
username and password. I must login as Administrator. I tried to do a system
restore but I is always incomplete no changes made. I would really like to
be able to reconnect with my username and access my profile. Is this
possible or do I have to start over. Any help you could give me would be
great.

Thx, Marty

Yes, I added the my domain user to the local Administrators group. But my
problem seems to be that Windows is complaining that it can't contact the
server to verify my username & password. I know that at the logon screen,
the wireless hasn't connected yet. Before the bonehead move on Friday, the
laptop would accept my domain username & password even if I wasn't connected
to the domain. Was the laptop caching my domain password before? Now it
seems that I would have to manage two profiles, one while I am in the office
& one while I am away from the office. I just want thing the way they were!

Thx, Marty
