I have a laptop HDD and I need to recover data from it.

Is there a way to plug it into PC?

Good grief - first time I have *ever* seen something more expensive in
the USA than in the UK.

By the way - these particular adaptors have a very high failure rate.

For a one-off installation that is going to remain static, they should
be ok - but for repeated connection / disconnection of drives they're
most certainly not.

(They can be purchased for about £2 in the UK.)
