Laptop hard drive repair

Just wondering if there any easy way to repair a broken pin on my
laptop harddrive?

Brought a second hand one off ebay and theres a snapped pin. Ebay and
paypal are refusing to help - so I'm stuck with it.

It is possible, but not something you should try learning to solder on.

They arent all essential, some arent used. The usual one
that gets damaged is pin 20, the one opposite the key
when the cable is jammed on backwards. That is a
ground but there is more than one ground pin.

Write it off as a lost cause if its a used pin and leave shitty feedback.
