GT said:Processor won't be too much of an issue - anything fairly recent will cope
just fine. Make sure you get as much RAM as you can afford - I would
recommend at least 2GB for serious photo editing. You will need to
consider backup as well - a decent DVD writers should be in the package.
The big problem is going to be the colour accuracy of the LCD screen. You
can buy screen calibrators that attach to the top of CRT-based screens and
allow you to correct the colour accuracy of a monitor, but I don't know if
would work for LCD screens - trouble with LCD is that if you move your
head too far from the perpendicular, the colours change.
