my laptop has been skipping a lot recently, i think it's overheating, i can still feel the heat by the fan, but it doesn't seem to be blowing out, its a hi-grade, r5400, any idea's how i can sort out the fan/check if its working?

Download from www.lavalys.com the EVEREST Home program, it
will report on the fan rpm and temperatures.

ok, i've dl'd that, but the reports huge, and i dont understand how it helps? what title is the fan gonna be under, the only info o f any use was the sensor temp
17 deg.c(63 deg f
and 44 deg c(111 deg f
are these normal

In order to advise on temps being 'normal' one needs to know the make and model of the Laptop and also the CPU Model and Type [eg P4 2.0Ghz].
