Over the weekend someone spilled a drink on my laptop. I bought an external
2.5" hard drive case and removed the hard drive from the laptop and I went to
retrieve items in 'my documents' to find out that I set 'my files' to private
when setting up Windows user accounts. I can't boot off of this drive to log
in and disable this because none of my other computers offer booting from a
USB device.

Is there a way to disable this feature with out booting off of the hard drive?

So - what you meant to say is that when you try to access the folders/files
in question, you ghet a message that tells you "Access Denied"...?
