LAptop Battery meter

I have set the battery meter to show in sys tray setting in control panel
but the icon never appears in the sys tray.

XP hoome user

Any help appreciated

I have the same problem sometimes with the icon for my
anti virus software, it is on "always display"
in "Customize" in my Taskbar options yet sometimes it
does, sometimes it dont. I just click on the < arrow in
the bottom right corner which opens up all icoms and then
click on the icon I want to see all the time. Good luck
