Can anyone Help am trying to install Sims Delux and keep getting access denied " language error at registry" Spoke to EA Games they could not help. Can anyone else. Am novice as well.

You attempted to access the registry, but your user permissions don't
include this type of registry access.
On 32-bit Microsoft Windows systems, a user must have the correct
permissions for access to the system registry. Change your permissions
or have them changed by the system administrator.
You must try to install the game under an administrator account

Roger How do you change permission. I have tried installing under systems administrator. EA Games helped me through but then said as I had Windows XP Home Edition they could not help. I have copied to hard drive and changed the install shield to installshield/old but dont know what to do from there. Am completely confused now.

If you have trouble with Windows Installer itself, go to Kelly's site:

and scroll down to line 94 'Windows Installer Fix'
or
Windows Installer error
Go to Start/Run and type: regsvr32 msi.dll
then Go to Start/Run and type sfc /scannow
Make sure you have your WinXP CD in the CD Drive before executing the
sfccommand.
