I recently got a laptop from Turkey, and I don't speak
Turkish (long story...)
Can anyone help me get the computer off Turkish and onto
English?
I have had some success (went to control panel and to
regional and language settings and changed all the
options to english) but most of the computer (i.e. all
the popup menus and the error messages and buttons) are
all still in turkish. Is there a way to get the entire
computer in english?
Thanks.

Assuming you are running Windows XP ... only way to do it is to buy an
English-language version of Windows XP. Windows XP is not multi-lingual.

Unfortunately, your only choice is to buy and install an English
copy of Windows. And equally unfortunately with a laptop, that
way is fraught with danger. You may have difficulty getting
proper drivers for your hardware.
