Hi. Would greatly appreciate some helpful advice. Just bought Samsung Netbook
NC10 from France with XP home edn in French assuming (wrongly) that it could
easily be changed over into its native mother tongue English . Tried all the
language options in control panel to get it into English (UK/US etc) but
nothing will budge the little s"£$%^&@h from its home language. Tried
reloading XP support disc with Anglais option on installation etc
Can't take it back and they probably wont change it anyway. If possible dont
really want to repartition the hdd - dont understand French and could get
into awful problems.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Many Thanks

Apparently you purchased a localized French version of Windows. You need
to purchase a localized English version of Windows (British, Canadian,
Australian or US). One can't be converted into the other.

As they say in France: C'est la vie.

You cannot upgrade or convert from one language version of the OS
to another, so you'll have to purchase and use the full version of WinXP
(in whatever language you want) to perform a clean installation.
