Outlook Express does not have a calendar. If you mean Outlook, check the
language version of Office. You cannot change the language version - you
will need to purchase English Office.

Also, check your regional and keyboard settings under Control Panel.

I am experiencing the same problem as Nad and Milly's response does not help
me at all. With me it's the days of the week , the months that are in this
strange language. Everything else in Outlook is in English. I use English
Office and nothing else as I am in South Africa.

Do you have both english and another language? tools, options, calendar
options - is enable alternate calendar checked?
