Landscape Vs Portrait

I have put together a tool that will allow the User to
print various reports. Presently, the User has to select
File > PageSetup > Page > Landscape to select Landscape or
Portrait. Although this setting is supposed to be saved
with the report, there is a bug in Access 2000 that seems
to default your setting to Portrait.

My company doesn't want to get the microsoft patch for
this bug, so I am hoping I can use a macro to ensure that
the reports print out with the correct format. This way,
the User doesn't have to go an manually reset the page
layout IF the bug strikes.

Does anybody know how to do that.

You REALLY should install the office update. Throe is tons of bugs that get
fixed.

In fact, I would not even support a access application if the updates are
not installed. You risk a lot of problems and disappointment on the customer
side by not installing the bug fixes.

There is not specific patch for that bug, but the zillions of bugs that the
sr office update fixes is well worth the install time. You will save much
more in support dollars then it will cost to install.

However, you can also fix the printer bug by turning off "name autocorrect"
