LAN Setup in XP

I have recently upgraded from 98SE to XP SP2 and by and large everything
appears to be OK. However, one problem I have is that when I power up the
computer first thing after powering up the BT Yahoo 2091 router, the LAN
does not establish a connection automatically to the Internet. After awhile
and manually trying to bring it to life it works, but not automatically. Any
clues as to why the auto connection is not running? I have checked the other
devices listed in the Network Connections and all are disabled with none set
to default connection.

HI , go to messenger at the top of the page , then go to preferences ,
then click the general tab , and tick " automatically start yahoo
messenger "
then click apply and then ok
