LAN Permissions

If you planned to put your secured back end database into a folder when users
cannot get access to it, what is the proper procedure and permissions to
follow.

It currently works fine on a local drive, but once I started adding LAN
permission to hide the folder where the data is, it would not open the
datafiles. Yet when you login access using the new admin account it does
work. But again, on the local all user account works.

I must be off on the LAN permission setting?

Any help is appreciated - Thanks.

They have to have permission to the folder. "Hiding" the folder will work,
but that has nothning to do with permissions.
