I have (2) PC's running XP Home Edition networked, router, and connected to
DSL.
Both can access Internet with no problem.
One PC can access all shared files and devices on the other. Both are in
same Workgroup.
When one of the PC's tries to access the other, there is always an error
message as follows:
Error Message - "\\Buddy is not accessible. You might not have permission to
use this network resource.
Contact the admistrator of this server to find out if you have access
permissions."
"Logon failure: The user has not been granted the requested logon type at
this computer.
..In my opinion both PC's are setup identicallly with Protocols, Security
Permissions, etc. I just cannot find the root cause of this, and do not know
how to change a logon type to avert this message.
Help! Help! Desperate.
You may email be direct, at (e-mail address removed).
Thank you!
