lame scroll bar problem

About half the time, my scroll bar will shoot back to the
top or bottom of the page and I can't view content in the
middle, even if I refresh the page. I can't find
anything on this and have no idea what might cause it.
Any ideas?
 
Is the fast scroll feature on your mouse turned on. In
other words, did you press the wheel in the middle of you
mouse and it just goes up and down really fast when you
move your mouse only by a little?? That's been the
problem for me a couple of times.
