Cannot do with XP Home. Just have to set the workgroup
to be the same as the domain name. Right-click on My
Computer, select properties and go to the Computer Name
tab. Click change and enter your domain name as the
workgroup name. If it is XP Pro, go to the same tab and
it should be self-explainatory from there.
Is this you work place Domain? Are you using your laptop? What operating
system are you using? Have you spoken to the Domain admin group to have you
computer added to active directory? Any system can logon to a domain, only a
few systems can join a domain. Knowing that do want to join or just logon to
work? Please answer these question then we can help you.
