In the good old days of Outlook Express, I could block a sender in usenet
groups, and the result would be that messages from them would not be shown
to me. I have not figured out how to get this same behavior from Vista Mail.
I have added the sender to some kind of blocked list, but their messages are
still visible.

What am i doing wrong, or is this just not possible with VM at this time?

Thanks,

NuTs

Blocking prevents future messages from arriving. It does nothing for those
you already downloaded.

If you go to Tools | Message Rules you can create a rule. You can then
choose to implement it immediately. It will scour your existing messages and
then prevent future messages from being downloaded.

Quote from George Ankner:
If you knew as much as you think you know,
You would realize that you don't know what you thought you knew!

might be easier to create a rule to mark them as read and use a view to hide read messages.
