Lack of color drawing outlines or forms

Hi, I just installed Office 2007, and I been drawing lines and forms in Power
Point, but first time I did it, I only can see the dots at the end of the
line, but no the line. After a while I discovered I have to apply a color.

Is there any way to set a default color for any line and not having to draw
and apply color again and again.

Format one the way you want, then right-click and "set autoshape default."
