It seems, through their own admission, that LaCie UK support has fallen on it's knees.
As a reseller we reported a 2TB Network Drive belonging to a customer as being faulty on August 4th. This product is still under UK manufacturers warranty. However, a month down the line the product remains with the customer. 34 emails have been sent to supporrt with a total of 1 x response acknowledging the problem.
Unfortunately, we have had to purchase a new drive elsewhere. By the admission of the UK director LaCie support is not working and that products that should be eligible for repair are being completely ignored. This apparantly is something to do with support now having moved to the US but I do not know why this would result in nbothing being done at all.
Maybe they're trying to copy Acer! Sorry, that was cruel!
