We live 5 mins away from Manchester city centre, and as you all know, the Labour Party Conference is taking place this weekend here.

Looking out of our window we can see 3 helicopters circling the area!! :eek: They've been at it all day!

Nice to see they are taking proper security measures, but it does make a gal worry...

I'll try and post a pic of them later :)

The copters have gone now, but will no doubt be there all day tomorrow again! I think Bex got some photos on her phone when we went to the pub, so will try and upload them - there were loads in the air at one point :eek:

Tell ya what, if I was a party political leader, I'd choose somewhere like Newquay, Polperro, Swanage or Lyme Regis, even Blackpool for a conference, not ruddy Manchester!

No offence, like, our kid ;)
 
Yeah, I know what you mean - I was quite surprised it was here too! It's quite cool watching being able to see the GMex from our Window, the conference is HUGE :eek:
