Is there such a device that will allow us to print (durable and waterproof)
on label rolls of aprox 6"*4" preferably in colour. I have looked at some
thermal transfer printers and they seem expensive compared with laser
printers, whilst being mono only. Are there any lasers that can print to
rolls of labels like dot matrix/ink jets can.

Thanks

Jaime

The Epson C84 ink is waterproof on plain paper so you could use that for
labels.

Thanks for that, however will it print on continuous feed labels on a roll.
The epson literature doesnt mention anything about this.

Thanks

No roll holder for this printer.

Woudl it work if some kind of DIY roll holder was riged up to feed the
labels into the printer?

Thanks

We needed a label printer or two badly and looked at all options to
avoid buying a grossly overpriced dedicated label printer.

We now have two grossly overpriced dedicated label printers, there were
no viable alternatives other than a tractor fed dot matrix and we could
not get an XP driver for it. To be fair, the label printers have proved
to be super reliable and efficient but very expensive for what they are
