First of all Thanks Dusty for your advice earlier today 5/4/04
When I try to connect to my office server using L2TP/IPSec I get an error 781; Stating I need a certificate for authentication. I have enabled certificate services on my office server and I have tried to enable auto-authentication i.e. I try to connect using PPTP, get a priviate key, then call back using L2TP/IPSec. Am I correct, is this how it should work? Alternativly I could generate a pair of keys (public and priviate) (if i had a clue how to do this) and import the key manually on my client computer off a floppy disk.
Getting close folks on the L2TP/IPSec stuff .... just need a little help.

Look into:

For an L2TP IPSec Connection you need the machine certs on the client
computer which are authenticated by the remote RRAS Server.
