Ok guys I need some advice. I have a wireless keyboard and mouse, but I
wouldl ike to have a monitor from my pc in my bedroom. Which means that I
would need to extend about 10 to 15 feet from my PC. Is a KVM switch the
best way to do this? What would be a gopod route to go and what is a good
product to do it with? Any advice is greatly appricated.

Are kb and mouse infrared or radio? (i.e., do they go through walls?)

Many KVM's are very fussy about the sorts of kbs and mice they support.
Investigate potential KVM's thoroughly to be sure they will support your
mouse.

It sounds like you don't want to switch kb/mouse but just monitors; if
that is the case, just get a A/B monitor switch, e.g.

Also get the best monitor cable you can get. Picture quality can be
ruined by long lengths of ho-hum cable.
