KV8 Deluxe Capacitors

I am looking at getting one of these mother board now. Does any one
know if this bad Capacitor issue has been fixed on the boards at this
time.

All latest revision boards are clear, it was just a batch of bad caps. I've
phoned round a few places in the UK before I bought mine and most of em
where checking the units on receipt from Asus prior to even booking stock
in.

The bad capacitor adventure first hit over a year ago. It was a bad
batch from a supplier. The bad ones should be purged from the system
by now. Check out the ABIT newsgroup for more info. They were hit
particularly hard.

This bad capacitor thing has been going on for over 2 years now, don't you
think its about time they all insisted on ISO recognised cap manufacturers?
