The program flagged ktkbdhk.dll (a keyboard hooking dll) as spyware, however,
our company's credit card processing program uses this dll as a perfectly
valid keyboard hook. There are non-spyware uses for a keyboard hook, that
involve hotkeys and card processing.

Please, please don't flag this alone as evidence of spyware. Removal of
this dll can damage our client installations.

I want to reiterate plun's suggestion: Please report this directly to
Microsoft using the forms at the link he posted.

Microsoft has, in my experience, been very responsive to reports of false
positives--let them know about this directly via the web form.

Hi guys,

Will do. Thanks. They should probably have that directly in the help menu
of the program itself so that these files don't fall through the cracks.

Thanks.

They want end-user's reports to come in these groups--specifically, the
..signatures group, if possible. Vendors are encouraged to use the web form.

We've seen resolution from both forms of reporting, although we can't always
tell what methods have been used to report a given issue.
