I am thinking to purchase a color laser printer to replace an old Epson
Photo inkjet and the reviews say the photo output of the Konicas is
reasonable.
Question: Some model Konicas are 2400x600 and others are 9600x600. Does
this produce a real difference in the output?
Any comments on users of these 2 printers appreciated.

I believe that these printers are 600x600, and that the 2400 means that
each pixel has four levels of intensity, while the 9600 means that each
pixel has 16 levels of intensity. It should make a difference, but can
you see the difference?

The best thing to do is have some samples printed. In my experience,
Konica has been very good about providing sample prints on their
printers. I'd recommend that you supply the test image, have it
printed on both machines, and then compare the output yourself.
