Hello, thanks for your reply. I think we should see if we share common hardware or software to help solve this problem
I dont run much software, no anti virus programs, no file sharing programs, not much of anything
Hardware
Video- Radeon 9600pr
Sound- Turtle Beach, Santa Cru
OS- Windows XP Pr
Motherboard- Intel 865per
CPU- Intel Pentium 4, 2.6 gh
CDRW- Khypermedia 48
DVD- LG Electronics

Do you use any of these things too

Hiya.

My hardware is as follows:

HDD: ST380020A.
GFX: Radeon 7500
CD : RICOH CD-RW MP7320A
DVD: Currently disconnected for testing purposes (no
luck)
CPU: Intel Pentium 4 2.5GHz
SFX: Avance AC97
RAM: 512MB DDR

As for software, I had a whole load of crap on my PC,
then went through a format and reinstall of XP. I then
downloaded the latest updates that I needed (security
etc) but nothing seems to make a difference. Can it be
software if I went through a format and reinstall?
What's your motherboard, out of curiousity?
