I built several computers with XP pro and they all use picture viewer to read
..gif files. Other computers I simply upgraded. These old win2k pro boxes used
the Kodak viewer to view the gif files. After the upgrade, the computers use
the old kodak viewer (maxing out the cpu resources at 90% and above) yet when
I go to file types and check what opens gif files, it indicates that the
WinXP picture viewer is the program that will open it. I have a feeling that
the MS picture viewer is not installed. What can I do to change this to the
newer picture viewer and dump the kodak viewer?
