Kodak easyshare is blocked. "To use online service, you need to connect to
the internet. Connect to the internet and then click OK." No matter what I
try it keeps doing this.

OK. I am having the same problem, can not get easyshare to send pics or even
the invitation to view pics. I have the latest version. And uploaded the
Quick Time Player (latest version) but while doing so told me the program
looking for it, which they said was Kodak EasyShare, would/could not accept.
I am really frustrated, Have emailed Kodak but no response for 48 hours.
Anyone else figure out this issue? It worked perfectly fine on XP, now have
Vista due to new computer and can't do a thing. Thanks! Patricia

Are you running a third party firewall program?
Some of the security "suites" or "centers" include a firewall.

Uploading the QuickTime player? What program is looking for QuickTime? Who is
asking for EasyShare?

You download and install QuickTime player on your computer. (QuickTime is ONLY
needed to view VIDEOS shot with a Kodak digital camera which uses the MOV
format. It doesn't have anything to do with using the EasyShare software)

Do you have an account already with Kodak and you cannot now access it?

I really don't understand your post.

Yes, I am running McAfee. I was told to go in and tell McAfee that EasyShare
was "friendly" but couldnt find the area in McAfee to tell it that. Now the
EasyShare tells me when I first sign on that it is running with an
Incompatible Program, so I finaly found the MS wizard and told it to run as
Windows XP (it was already checked) but that did not help. I am frustrated
and ready to try Snapfish.

OK Another piece of advice to me was to update QuickTime player so I did. I
can access my account. I can even send an email, but can not send picture
attachments, can not upload to the gallery, and can not even send an
invitation to view pictures(another method of sharing pics on easyshare).
Help?

Does anyone know if Babs ever got this resolved.? I worked with McAfee for
1/2 hour this a.m. and have full access to EasyShare by McAfee and it is
still telling me I need internet access to send pics.

This a.m. I worked with McAfee and I have full access to Kodak EasyShare by
McAfee and it Still...told me I needed internet access. Any more suggestions?
Thanks

How do you connect to the net? Always on broadband or dial-up?
Do you have to enter a user name and password?

Why don't you uninstall McAfee on a trial basis to see if that clears
the problem?

OK. Just for anyone who might have this problem. Called Kodak, and they
very simply walked me into the depths of my computer and found the mail
address was that of Kodak, I simply changed the address to mine and voila!
I now have all the capibilities with Kodak EasyShare that I had with XP.
Thanks for all the advice. This is a great website.
